Burn scars are never just skin deep. The saddening fact that they will never fade, painfully reminds the victims of the hell they went through. Basma Hameed, a tattoo artist and a burn victim herself, has taken up the meticulous task of helping burn victims get rid of their burn scars. Her brilliant craft of tattooing hardly noticeable tattoos on and around burn scars have emotionally empowered hundreds of burn victims.

With her extraordinary talent, Basma uses colour tones that blend with skin discoloration and almost entirely camouflage the scars. The process is called paramedical tattooing treatment.

Basma decided to tread on this life-changing journey after she was met with a kitchen accident which left her face critically burnt. Ever since then, Hameeda has mastered her talent and has helped everybody from fire victims to people who fell prey to domestic violence.
